This privacy policy explains what data nodewire.net collects, why, and how to ask us to delete it.
What we collect
- Server logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL. Kept 14 days. Used to debug 500s and rate-limit abuse.
- Newsletter — only the email address you submit. Stored in ConvertKit. Unsubscribe link in every email.
- Comments — name, email, optional URL. Email never displayed publicly.
- Analytics — privacy-first analytics (Plausible). No cookies, no cross-site tracking, no personal identifiers.
What we do NOT do
- No third-party advertising trackers (Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, etc.).
- No data sold to brokers.
- No fingerprinting.
Cookies
The site sets a single technical cookie to remember your light/dark theme choice. That is it.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links — primarily DigitalOcean, Render.com, and Sentry — are affiliate links. They do not change what you pay. They do put a few dollars on the bar tab. Disclosure on every page that contains them.
Your rights
Email privacy@nodewire.net to:
- see what we hold about you,
- have it corrected,
- have it deleted.
We answer in 30 days. We do not need a reason from you.
